Hey! If you don’t already know me, my name is Yelena but most people call me Yeye. I’m a senior at Junction City High School in Oregon, and I am excited to say that I’ve been accepted into the World Race’s gap year program starting September of 2022! I can’t wait for this next big step in my life after I graduate. It has always been a dream of mine to go around the world, help people who truly need it and be a part of their community. Over the span of 9 months, I will be doing just that in Cambodia, Guatemala, South Africa, and THAILAND (one of my dream places to go!)
One of the things I’m most excited about is being able to experience all of the different cultures first hand, and being able to show the love of God in every way I can! I also can’t wait to meet the amazing group of people I’ll be with! I’ve been a dancer for 9 years and my favorite style of dance is Jazz. I love hiking, trying and seeing new things, all creatures, meeting new people, and MUCH more. I hope you can be a part of helping me achieve one of my biggest dreams, and I look forward to updating my blog with this amazing journey. <3
